Automotive

We focus on helping our clients shorten development time by providing the following deliverables:

  • High-fidelity modeling of chassis and powertrain dynamics
  • Multi-objective Design Optimization (MDO) - using Design Exploration to generate balanced solutions meeting desired performance for attributes such as noise, vibration, harshness (NVH), handling, ride, driveability, durability, and more.
  • Automation of simulation processes to increase efficiency
  • Tire measurement for Durability, Handling and Ride applications
  • Driving Simulator hardware, software and services
  • Mechatronics simulation with connected mechanical and ADAS models
  • Process assessments to identify bottlenecks, define roadmaps, and maximize return on Computer Aided Engineering activities.

Time:  4pm Stuttgart | 8:30pm Mumbai | 10am Detroit

Today's vehicle is a highly complex system incorporating a dizzying array of electronics, software and sensors required to accommodate and enable the vast range of complex, advanced functions drivers expect as 'standard' features in today's cars.

The fact that many of these subsystems aren't developed by the vehicle manufacturer dramatically adds to this complexity since suppliers often deliver their subsystems to the OEM as a "black box" to protect their intellectual property. So how can OEMs and suppliers synchronize their efforts when each is at a different point in the development process?

In this free 60-minute virtual panel discussion moderated by Lucas Bruck from McMaster University, a panel of industry HiL experts discuss how to synchronize the overall development among the OEM and suppliers by employing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing, where the real components and ECUs are integrated into a real-time simulated environment.

Key topics and takeaways:

→ Learn how automakers are testing the functionality of HiL components within their development process
→ Understand how the use of HiL solutions coupled with a driving simulator can help synchronize different development stages of components, always representing the latest development status
→ Discover how the same real-time tool stack for different simulation activities (MiL, SiL, HiL, on-Sim, on-vehicle test) can be used to enable and accelerate the modern automotive vehicle development process from an HiL perspective
